Marketing Manager (Acquisition and Paid Media), 12-month contract. An excellent opportunity to join a National Health Charity, within the Mass Participation Team.
• Hybrid working; 1 day a week office-based, open to various locations across the UK; London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, or York.
• Salary is location based: London; £38,000 – £41,824 pa. National; £34,500 – £38,324 pa.
As the Marketing Manager (Acquisition and Paid Media), you will join the Mass Participation Team, working with the Senior Fundraising Manager and wider products and marketing team. You will be responsible for;
• The development and implementation of supporter marketing strategies for products, focused on the acquisition of new supporters and paid marketing.
• Working across teams to ensure activities complement each other and key audiences are targeted with the right offer, at the right time, through the right channel.
• Managing the annual calendar for all paid marketing activity, ensuring great customer propositions to attract new audiences.
Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities)
• Lead and implement a team-wide paid marketing strategy for Mass Participation products.
• Work with Product Managers to develop and implement marketing plans for products, provide expertise and advice, ensuring plans align with the team strategy.
• Lead on the marketing, media, creative, and messaging strategy for products.
• Support teams to develop new approaches to reach, engage and convert supporters.
• Manage external media, advertising, and content agencies to respond to product briefs and develop team-wide creative and activity plans.
• With the Brand Marketing Manager, ensure the marketing strategy is in line with the brand strategy. With the Stewardship Manager, provide strategic reviews and analysis of wider activity, inform of insights to understand the profile, motivations, and experiences of supporters.
• Work with the content, digital, PR, and social teams to ensure channel activity and content is developed and implemented into integrated campaigns, encouraging strong cross-working relationships.
• Develop and oversee the marketing budget across the team.
For this Marketing Manager (Acquisition and Paid Media) role, you will have previous experience and knowledge of;
• The ability to develop and deliver multi-channel integrated digital campaigns that meet agreed targets and outcomes, with strategic marketing planning experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to draw insights from data.
• Knowledge of content marketing including digital channels, with strong copywriting skills.
• Experience in briefing and managing projects across departments and external agencies including marketing agencies, media owners, and suppliers.
• Excellent cross-departmental liaison skills, and ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Budget management experience.
