Job Description

Direct Marketing Assistant, an excellent opportunity for to develop your career within Marketing and Campaigns Management, joining a well-known and wonderful National Health Charity. Head Office based in London, with regional offices across the UK.  

Offering Remote or Hybrid working. Open to all locations across UK.
Salary (dependent on experience and location): London: £23450 – £24,945, National: £19,950 – £21,445 pa. 

 

This exciting Direct Marketing Assistant role offers an excellent opportunity to play a significant role in delivering fundraising marketing campaigns, supporting an incredibly successful, friendly and supportive team of fundraisers. The team are responsible for the cash appeals, channels include direct mail, DRTV, emails and digital advertising.

As the Direct Marketing Assistant, you will be working with the Individual Giving Manager, and supporting a team of Individual Giving Fundraisers, providing the Team with administrative, operational and marketing support.

Key Responsibilities: 

Administration and Operational duties:
o First point of contact for enquiries to the Individual Giving inbox and to action requests accordingly. Ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
o Ensure all supporters receive the highest standard of care, updating supporter records, ensuring that all data is captured accurately. 
o Provide a briefing on all Individual Giving activities to the Supporter Relations Team to enable them to signpost supporter queries accurately.
o Record and process all invoices and purchase orders.
o Manage the Direct Giving intranet pages.
Marketing and Campaigns Support:
o Creative development of email campaigns alongside postal campaigns.
o Support with web pages to for specific appeals and campaigns.
o Liaise with stakeholders, gathering feedback and offering critique on all creative, in partnership with the Fundraisers.
o Research into projects, case studies, and other charity/commercial approaches to feed into the creative process.
o Opportunity to learn and manage PSMS (text) campaigns and larger campaigns.  

 

This is an excellent role for someone who is passionate about a career in marketing and campaigns management. We are looking for you to have previous experience of;  

Working within areas such as, Marketing. Individual Giving, Direct Marketing or Fundraising or in a Supporter Services/Supporter Engagement role.
With demonstrable experience of dealing with enquiries whilst adhering to strict deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and experience in building relationships with internal and external parties.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks.
Solid experience of using Microsoft Office and databases, with knowledge of GDPR
