User Experience Designer (UX Designer), a fantastic opportunity to join a National Social Welfare Charity. Open to locations across the UK and can offer Remote or Hybrid working.

Salary – London; £41,189 pro rata or National; £38,390 pro rata
Can be based anywhere in the UK. Open to Remote or Hybrid working.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a talented User Experience Designer (UX Designer) to join a Digital Innovation Team at a time of development and growth. The Digital Innovation Team is committed to creating high-quality and inclusive online experiences for external audiences and this role is key to this area of development. 

As the User Experience Designer (UX Designer), working with the Digital Impact Lead, and the wider Digital Innovation Team, you will make practical contributions to emerging online products and services offer, as well as build new approaches, along with enhancing best practice UX design for the organization and ultimately for all online users.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage a range of online interactions and experiences for people accessing services, incorporating UX approaches through discovery research to prototyping, testing & eventual implementation, and developing new and enhanced online experiences.
Review and lead on the usability and accessibility, testing current supporter-facing digital product portfolio to support optimisation that meets objectives and to prioritise the product backlog.
Establish and manage the approach to UX design that champions best practices, that are user-centered, inclusive, and equitable.
Work collaboratively across multi-functional teams, and external agencies and support colleagues to implement user-led approaches (for example project managers, designers, developers, service designers, product managers/owners)
Co-design with end-user audiences where appropriate such as practitioners, professionals, and supporters

As the User Experience Designer, UX Designer, or Digital Product Designer, you’ll have proven experience working within a similar role or have prior experience and knowledge of;  

Managing or working on UX projects through all stages of the product lifecycle
Practical experience, in implementing quality online interactions and use of appropriate software to achieve this.
The ability to communicate UX design principles to stakeholders at all levels
Experience in using and designing digitally enabled products, and services, and experiences using industry-standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe, InVision
